We are a dynamic business-led and funded charitable organisation set-up in July 2004 by Croydon-based companies who wanted to make an impact on their local community by forging strong links with charities and voluntary groups.

It is a unique brokerage service designed to bridge the gap between the needs of the community and those of the commercial sector – identifying and facilitating activities for each company to get involved in at least 3 times a year.

Collaboration is the key to success. Croydon Commitment members have realised that by working together as a group they have a far greater impact in Croydon, than if they concentrate separately on individual projects.

Monthly breakfast meetings facilitate this partnership, which has grown from 2 to 40 companies and to date our members have contributed, through volunteering and fundraising, over £500,000 to over 50 local charities.

Our latest Fundraiser, The Venetian Ball took place on 31st January at the Great Hall, Addington Palace and was a huge success. Click the link at the left for a short write-up and a selection of pictures.
